TIME
FOR TONE by Eva Wasserman-Margolis.
Exercises for Developing or Improving Your Clarinet Tone. (Eng., Fr., Ger.,
Sp., Jap.)
Designed for use by both progressing and advanced players, TIME FOR
TONE is a regimen of long tone warm-up exercises designed to assist the
player in the development of a beautiful clarinet tone. Many of the world's
leading clarinetists have adopted this approach for their students.
"Eva Wasserman-Margolis has quickly established herself as a superb
teacher and forward-thinking pedagog, both inside Israel and abroad. Her
young students in the Tel Aviv area are some of the finest performers,
in this age group, anywhere in the world. A great motivator, dedicated
teacher and problem solver, Ms. Wasserman-Margolis has now published "Time
for Tone" to help clarinetists with an ordered approach to the development
of a better sound. I am pleased to recommend this book to players, teachers,
and students as an adjunct to their regular practice materials."
